Hmm... recently my ex-colleague named F (1 year younger than me) visited avrial and i at work last week to drop us a RED BOMB invitation! Well, i've already learnt about news of her shotgun wedding from avrial few days before her visit. Still, it was quite unexpected to me.

This year alone, there are already 2 of our staff who have gotten themselves pregnant and have to go through motherhood at such a young age. From what i heard, their other halves are not 100% good boyfriend-turned-hubby.

For 1 of them, her partner gets violent when drunk, while the other girl's hubby is very chauvinistic and she always give in to his temper. Sighs...

IS LOVE REALLY SO BLIND?! Somehow they have proven me right to a cetain extent, but i still prefer to let my head rule when it comes to relationships. I'm already so skinny with not much flesh, if my bf were to abuse me 1 day and i continue to stick to him, won't i be left to bones at the end of the day? Haha. Ok not so exaggerating lah.. just an example.

Oops, sidetrack too much...

Anyway, F told me her boyfriend was damn happy when he knew about her pregnancy, but for herself, she is still learning to accept that she is going to be a mother soon. Well, they have decided to hold a wedding, and it will be in late Sept. She hopes that avrial and i can be her jiemeis cuz majority of her friends are married and being superstitious, she does not want them to be her jiemeis.

Still deciding whether to be her jiemei anot...

Though i have already applied leave on her wedding day, it does not mean that my boss will be so clever and nice to schedule me an off day before my leave lor... Unless i apply 1/2day leave. Otherwise it means i'll most probably be working the late shift. If i were to agree to be jiemei, i have to wake up very early in the morning to prepare the "groom's punishment before receiving his bride" ingredients/stuffs and bring my barang barang to stay over at her place which is @ BUKIT BATOK!

Having said that, i'm not really against the idea of being her jiemei since i had so much fun on Christine's big day. Shall wait for avrial to return from her BKK trip and discuss with her about it. =)
